Cariad Winter : Message Me To Be Added

The first thing you should know about me is that I go through occasional flights of fancy, or you know… constant ones. The first time I picked up a pen and started writing I couldn’t have been more than nine. I discovered, as a child whose friends lived too far away to see every day, that I had to find ways to amuse myself. Needless to say, I had a very active, very vivid imagination growing up and it never really went away.

I am a whole adult now, adulting, and doing things. I’m a published author, and all the voices in my head are still very much active. Whether that’s a good thing or not well, I suppose that all depends upon which characters are at the mercy of my pen at any given time. c:< Most of my works are angsty. There will be small bits of fluff and shiny thrown in, but nine times out of ten somebody is going to get their feelers all twisted before I’m done.

I welcome any prompts/requests that someone wants to throw at me. I am open to original fiction and fandom fiction. Inside you will find a list of fandoms and pairings I'm currently open to writing for. I will try to keep it updated but... yk... life.

OTHER STUFFS

The theory of my life is this: “It is, what it is, what it is.” Okay? Writing is about creativity and escape. It’s taking something you already love and adding your own imagination to it or creating something entirely new. I, like many fanfiction writers, do this for FUN. Do I want people to like and respect my writing? Of course! Do I love getting amazing reviews? Absolutely! Do I care if you don’t like the way I wrote a specific character or unraveled a particular plot? NOT AT ALL. If you start to dislike a character or how a story is unfolding then stop reading and move on. It’s that simple. If you keep reading because, despite what you don’t like about it, you still want to know the ending - well that’s on you, isn’t it? I write my fics and characters the way they write themselves in my head. They are what they are. Don’t like it? Oh well.

At the end of it all, if you can come in and say: “Hey, you know I loved the story or I like what you did here, but I didn’t so much like this character here or the turn the fic took here.” I can totally respect that. I can understand that you liked some of it but not all of it. We can’t all agree all the time or like the same thing someone else likes. Just keep in mind that it won’t change the way I write something. Unless it’s actual grammatical concrit and then hey, I can absolutely make the corrections.

Also, this is fiction. Make-believe. Fantasy. If I want to write them saddling up iridescent pigs with fairy wings and gliding off into the sunset, guess what, I can do that. Just saying. c:<
